Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Decentralization Support in Ukraine” in cooperation with Creative Association “Slavuta” conducted the round table, which officially launched the Media Competition “Uniting the Community!” in Vinnytsya Oblast. The competition is devoted to covering the practical experience in the sphere of population self-organization and effective solutions of rural communities’ problems in five regions of Ukraine – Vinnytsya, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblasts and AR Crimea.

 Valeriya Bondarenko, Head of Creative Association “Slavuta” presented the demands and requirements of competition and answered the reporters’ questions.

 Andriy Hyzhko, Head of Economic Department of Vinnytsa Oblast State Administration informed the audience on local self-governance and Vinnytsya Oblast experience in the sphere of establishing the effective cooperation between communities, local executive and legislative power. The speaker presented projects implementation in cooperation with DESPRO.  

 Nataliya Chernysh, representative of Cherepashyntsi village territorial community (Kalynivsky rayon) highlighted the experience of cooperation with DESPRO and creating the conditions necessary to enhance rural community.

Oleksiy Havrylov, Head of Vinnytsya Oblast branch of International Association “Ukraine – Poland – Germany” told about cooperation of Vinnytsya Oblast territorial communities with European partners.

The event was attended by more than 30 media representatives of the regional level
