On 2^nd April 2012 the first meeting of DESPRO Oblast working group took place in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.  

During the meeting DESPRO project was presented as well as its main activities, achievements and methods. Possible joint activities for cooperation in 2012 were discussed. The meeting resulted in a decision to conduct second working gathering aimed at identifying detailed mechanisms for further joint operation and integrating decentralized water-supply models into Oblast call for proposals for projects and programs related to local self-governance http://www.orada.if.ua/index.php?id=466

Acting working group, which supports Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Decentralization Support in Ukraine” includes: Mr. Mykhailo Vyshyvaniuk, head of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast State Administration, Mr. Oleksandr Sych, head of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Council, Mr. Roman Strutynsky, head of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast State Administration’s Apparatus, Mr. Ostap Dzesa, deputy head of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Council, Mrs. Oksana Garnets, DESPRO senior coordinator in Ukraine, Mr. Viacheslav Kozak, DESPRO decentralization and social mobilization specialist and others.
