First site for solid waste collection has appeared in Tulchyn. I saw by myself when Valeriy Vesnianiy, the Mayor, has brought the first symbolic plastic bottle to yellow containers. Currently, the executives of Tulchyn pilot initiative on separate waste collection are to convince the inhabitants of condominiums (5 multi-storied buildings) to collect and dispose the waste separately.    

This week the volunteers involved will disseminate among the inhabitants the letters of appeal that will urge and invite them to solid waste management, i.e.:

The initiative is a component of a large-scale inter-municipal project on solid waste management, which presupposes thematic study for adults and children, information campaign; social advertising that includes video and slide-show as well as reports on local TV and national-wide discussions.

It is aimed at understanding that everybody does can live within “out of waste” environment.
