Inauguration of Water Supply Networks in Khmeliv village Sumy Oblast

On 13th November 2012 inauguration of water supply network took place in Khmeliv village Romens’ky rayon Sumy Oblast.
 
Total length of water supply network in Khmeliv village is 30 km. Total project budget is UAH 1 847,480 thousand. Rayon budget contributed UAH 250 thousand, Swiss-Ukrainian project “Decentralization Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO) – UAH 240 thousand and local community – UAH 357,48 thousand.
 
To ensure successful operation of the above water supply network following works were completed: external electric networks for artesian wells, which are on the balance of village council, were constructed; project design of wells reconstruction and replacement of equipment for energy-saving totaling UAH 476,0 thousand was approved.
 
The event was attended by following persons: V. Tatarinov, First Deputy Head of Romensky Rayon State Administration; V. Karnaukh, Deputy Head of Romensky Rayon State Administration; N. Trofymenko, Head of Division of bridge construction, architecture and housing, Romensky Rayon State Administration; Vyacheslav Kozak, Expert on decentralization, Swiss-Ukrainian project “Decentralization Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO); constructions’ Contractors - I. Batiy, head of “Romnygazbud” and T. Gurova, head of “Gazsantekhmontazh”; O. Rybalko, Khmeliv village head.
