Inauguration of Water Supply Networks in Illinets’ke and Rosokhovate villages Vinnytsya Oblast

Important events took place in Illenets’ke and Rosokhovate villages – inauguration of water supply networks, which were constructed by local communities in cooperation with village authorities within the framework of Second Phase of Swiss-Ukrainian project “Decentralization Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO).
 
This project made it possible to fulfil the dream of villages’ inhabitants. Due to its implementation, 75% of households of Illinets’ke village and 70% of households of Rosokhovate village were provided with qualitative drinking water. Village schools, kindergartens and medical and obstetric points were connected to the network as well. The length of water supply network in Illinets’ke village is 4 200 meters and in Rosokhovate village – 7 800 meters. Artesian wells were repaired and water tower was constructed.
 
Total budget of Illinets’ke project is UAH 327 000 and total budget of Rosokhovate project is UAH 701 000. It includes funds provided by Swiss Confederation, rayon and village budgets and village communities.
 
The event was attended by following persons: Victor Kryvonis, Deputy Head, Illinets’ky Rayon State Administration; Oleksandr Bondar, Project Coordinator in Rayon, Head of the Division of regional development, bridge construction and architecture, Illinets’ky Rayon State Administration; Vyacheslav Kozak, Expert on decentralization, Swiss-Ukrainian project “Decentralization Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO).
