On 19 – 21 November 2012 training on facilitation in e-space took place in Lviv within the framework of Community’s of Practice “Innovations in Local Self-Government” («Інновації в місцевому самоврядуванні») development.

Active Community’s of Practice participants came together to discuss their experience within the community,  to got acquainted with different knowledge management techniques, tools for facilitation of discussions, experience exchange, problems solving and ideas’ generating in a community.

Following issues were addressed during the training:

 

·         Main communication components and their interaction;

·         Theoretical and practical basis of facilitation;

·         New design of e-course “Projects on local and regional development management”;

·         Tasks for teachers, experts and facilitators within the framework of the course;

·         Tools and techniques for establishing interaction among the participants;

·         Scenario for “Knowledge Café”;

·         Organizational Structure of “Open Space”;

·         Facilitation’s technique with the use of web-platform tools for eLearning (creating the profiles, selection of communication tools and organization of various forums, “Knowledge Café” and “Open Space”);

·         handling a common document WIKI;

·         facilitation difference from other methods of group interaction;

·         strength of question, content;

·         active communication with the use of online tools.
