Oksana Garnets reported that DESPRO project is working since 2007 and is aimed at decentralization support in Ukraine. One of our objectives is to build a system in which resources from the central budget will be used less," - said Garnets.
Zhvania said that Ukraine should be not only the recipient but also the program donor.

 

In turn, Guido Beltrani said that the project goal is to turn the local government to people, and not just apply the experience of Switzerland in Ukraine. "Many reforms are technical, not political. Their goal - balancing competences and responsibilities "- said Beltrani. He underlined that he did ready to provide every technical support for the implementation of programs on decentralization of power in Ukraine.
