The beginning of the e-course "Local and Regional Development Project’s Management -3": the Day of Records
On October 15, 1 117 representatives of local authorities, executive authorities and civil society from all over Ukraine began their training (eLearning) in the e-course "Project Management on Local and Regional Development" on the web-platform of the Community Practice “Innovations and Best Practices of Local Self-Government” - http://mx.despro.org.ua:8081. The eLearning has been organized for the third time by DESPRO Project and the State Foundation for Local Self-Government in Ukraine, in cooperation with the National Academy of Public Administration.
On the first day of the eLearning, two records were set: the number of logs per day reached 19,473, and the 2 000th participant was registered in the Community.
The eLearning is organized on the course-by-topic base: the participants can select the topics upon their registration, which include:
• Organization of the efficient system for providing public services to
the population (social protection)
• Development of the effective territory management mechanisms
• Reform of the system of housing and communal services, modernization
of engineering infrastructure and investments
• Development of tourism and spa industry. Reform of the cultural sector
• Development and implementation of projects and programs on energy
efficiency and resource conservation
• Reform in healthcare, education and sports
• Educational, scientific and information support of local government
development. The introduction of modern information technology in the
local government activities
Oksana Garnets, DESPRO Senior Project Coordinator in Ukraine, has mentioned in her greeting: "Our Community aims to share knowledge, experience, best practice, and, above all, to generate new ideas.
