The Council of Ministers of Crimea and DESPRO Project have signed a Memorandum on Cooperation

October 24, within the framework of the 4th International Black Sea Economic Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the Council of Ministers of Crimea and the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Decentralization Support in Ukraine” DESPRO. 

The document was signed by Anatoliy Mohylyov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, and Oksana Garnets, DESPRO Project Manager in Ukraine. According to the Memorandum, within the regional competition aimed to support community projects, the Project DESPRO is a commitment to co-financing of 12 projects. 

The amount of investments will be 40% of the total project cost, but it should not exceed 250 thousand hryvnas (UAH). In addition, DESPRO will co-finance pilot projects in the regions, which are focused on improving water supply and sanitation.
 The amount of investments in each project will be up to 850 thousand hryvnas. In turn, the Council of Ministers of Crimea is going to provide the selection of 12 projects in the area of rural water supply, as well as their cost-sharing under the terms of DESPRO. The Memorandum is valid until April 30, 2017.
