Series of Webinars "Local Elections 2020: What do Candidates Need to Know to Run a Successful Campaign?" Continues on Zoom
Since June 17th, the DESPRO projects holds a series of online seminars "Local Elections 2020: What do Candidates Need to Know to Run a Successful Campaign?" on Zoom platform. The webinars are targeted towards women-leaders of local self-government as part of the DESPRO project's support of gender equality in local governance in Ukraine.
"Preparing for the elections" - the first webinar of the series took place on June 17. Its speakers were Olena Boyko, DESPRO project expert, and Volodymyr Wenger, lawyer, member of the Center for the Rule of Law, who spoke about the peculiarities of modern election legislation and possible changes, the formation of the campaign headquarters, and outlined the prospects for party nomination and self-nomination.
"Candidate Media Training" - the second webinar of the series took place on June 24. The lecturers of the seminar, Dmytro Vasyliyev, a political consultant, and Andriy Zagorodsky, a media expert, spoke about the peculiarities of political communication and the PR strategy of the election campaign.
"Public Opinion Overview" - the third online seminar took place on July 8. The lecturers of the seminar Andriy Yeremenko, the founder of the research company Active Group, and Oleksandr Pozniy, the director of the research company Active Group, considered the features and aspects of studying public opinion, electoral sociology, sampling, etc.
