Black Sea Economic Forum Promotes the Implementation of Strategic Interests of Ukraine on Black Sea Coast

“It is especially important this year that International Black Sea Economic Forum becomes the platform for Ukraine to enter Black Sea region. The issues we’ve discussed are really essential not only for Crimea but for Ukraine and the whole Black Sea basin. It is a common ecosystem, the areas we are developing – tourism, agribusiness,” – said Deputy Prime Minister. 

According to her words, attention, the Government of Ukraine paid to Forum this year testifies that Crimea is a priority national project.

Mr. Boris Kolesnikov, Vice-Prime Minister – Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Mr. Anatoliy Blysnyuk, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine, Mr. Nikolay Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine as well as representatives of governmental and business circles and experts from Black Sea countries took part in a Forum. 200 persons from more than 10 countries participated    in Black Sea Economic Forum.

9 panel sessions were conducted within 2 days. Government of Crimea signed Agreements on Cooperation with four regions of Ukraine and three International Technical Support Projects. They also agreed on foreign investors’ and companies’ participation in the development of Yalta sea port and International airport “Simferopol”.
